We Follow Quality Hygiene Standards

Beyond your tattoo quality, hygiene has always been of paramount importance for us at Sacred Tattoo and our other studios, Bless You Tattoo Studio and Thug Life Tattoo. We are constantly aware of the fact that procedures that deal with skin penetration carry with them the possibility of contamination and infection. In order to eliminate any possibility of infection, we always use the most up-to-date, internationally recognized, hygiene standards. We endeavour to not just comply with, but exceed the standards set by industry watchdogs as the highest level of hygiene and hygiene awareness for all our work spaces, so you can be confident that you are getting tattooed in a clean and sterile environment.

The atmosphere inside the Studio

Professionals across our studios ensure that everyone inside the studios follow all the safety and hygiene checks. We request all our clients to sanitize their hands with clinically approved sanitizer and to take off their shoes before entering the creative zone. All our artists are accredited and certified to perform the art of tattooing safely and professionally and rigidly abide by all safety protocols.

Cleaning Standards

We firmly believe that old tenet, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”. With the same notion in mind, our studio is cleaned thoroughly every day and between each and every client, using medically approved sanitizing spray. We never compromise on the cleanliness of the workplace. All equipment used during the process is disinfected and sanitized before and after each use to ensure hygiene standards of the highest level.

Best Practices at Work

To ensure the best cleanliness of the studio, we sanitise everything used during and after the procedure, such as tattoo tables, chairs and benches, along with all surface areas. Our artists also make use of quality skin antiseptic solutions for the tattoo placement area to avoid infection later. We also pay great attention to the cross-contamination aspect and ensure that all inks are put into single-use containers. The containers we use are made of high-grade plastic and come with sterile packaging. The needles we use are all single-use and come sterilised in individual packs and are disposed of after each session in medical grade needle bins.

Equipment Used

We open brand-new and sealed disposable needles along with new ink caps for every client. Our artists also make use of new disposable tips and tubes before making tattoos. Once the process is over, all the items used are disposed of, so there is never a question of reusing them as everything that has a possibility of contamination or has contact with your skin is single-use only.

Hygiene for Our Professional Tattooists

We follow a strict policy for our artists and support staff on their appearance whilst inside the studio. We place the utmost importance on the personal hygiene of all employees, and take great pride in the absolute cleanliness of our environment. Tattooists use single-use, high-quality gloves while they take on the task of making incredible pieces of art, but before that they, of course, wash their hands thoroughly with antibacterial soaps.
